Origin: Southern Cross is a triploid cross variety from New Zealand released in 1994

Brewing characteristic: refreshing citrusy lemon with hint of pine

Agronomics: 1500-2000 kg/ha, long medium density cones

Alpha acids: 11.0-14.0 %

Beta acids: 5.0-6.0 %

Co-humulone: 25-28 % of alpha acids

Total oil: 1.2-1.4 ml / 100 grams

Aroma: aroma of citrus lemon zest character with hint of pine

Myrcene: 30-35 % of whole oil

Caryophyllene: 7-9 % of whole oil

Humulene: 20-23 % of whole oil

Farnesene: 7-9 % of whole oil

Recommended use and hopping: hop pellets type 90, kettle, whirlpool, third and dry hopping
