Origin: Saaz Shine is a new semi-early Czech aroma variety selected from Sladek and Saaz progeny, registered in 2019. It has high yield and nice hoppy aroma, high farnesene content and might be a potential replacement for the traditional Saaz variety

Agronomics: 1700-2200 kg/ha, early ripening

Alpha acids: 2.5-5.0 %

Beta acids: 2.0-4.0 %

Co-humulone: 21-27 % of alpha acids

Total oil: 0.5-1.1 ml / 100 grams

Aroma: herbal hoppy aroma

Myrcene: 10-30 % of whole oil

Caryophyllene: 7-15 % of whole oil

Humulene: 20-40 % of whole oil

Farnesene: 10-20 % of whole oil

Brewing characteristic: aroma hop variety for third and dry hopping of lager beers

Recommended product use and hopping: as pellets T90, third hopping, dry hopping
