Origin: Moutere is a New Zealand bred triploid variety with parentage from the New Zealand variety Southern Cross and a selected New Zealand male

Brewing characteristic: Moutere is a big hop delivering high alpha acid with a generous weight of oil while its lower cohumulone provides a soft well-structured but solid bitterness

Agronomics: 2500 kg / ha, late season with tight, ovate shape cone structure

Alpha acids: 15.5-18.5%

Beta acids: 8.0-10.0 %

Co-humulone: 24.0- 26.0 % of alpha acids

Total oil: 1.7 ml / 100 grams

Aroma profile: grapefruit, tropical and passionfruit

Myrcene: 22.0 - 23.0 % of whole oil

Caryophyllene: 5.0-6.0 % of whole oil

Humulene: 15.0-16.0 % of whole oil

Farnesene: 0.3-0.5 % of whole oil

Recommended use and hopping: pellets type 90 for first kettle addition up to dry hopping
