Origin: Gaia is a new Czech bitter variety, was selected from mother hybrid progenies from Czech variety Agnus and father progenies from UK variety Yeoman, released in 2017. Gaia was named after Greek goddess of Earth Gaia because of mighty plant

Agronomics: 1800-2800 kg/ha, medium late variety

Alpha acids: 12.0-15.0 %

Beta acids: 5.0-10.0 %

Co-humulone: 20-29 % of alpha acids

Total oil: 1.5-2.5 ml / 100 grams

Aroma: hoppy, spicy, slightly fruity

Myrcene: 25-35 % of whole oil

Caryophyllene: 9-12 % of whole oil

Humulene: 2-4 % of whole oil

Farnesene: 5-7 % of whole oil

Brewing characteristic: bitter hop variety with high alpha content and high oil content

Recommended product use and hopping: as pellets T90, first and second hopping
