Origin: Sterling is an aroma variety that as bred from Saaz and a number of other varieties

Agronomics: 1650-1850 kg/ha

Alpha acids: 6.0-8.0 %

Beta acids: 4.0-6.0 %

Co-humulone: 22-28 % of alpha acids

Total oil: 1.2-1.7 ml / 100 grams

Aroma: herbal, spicy aroma notes with hint of floral and citrus

Myrcene: 40-45 % of whole oil

Caryophyllene: 5-7 % of whole oil

Humulene: 18-23 % of whole oil

Farnesene: 10-17 % of whole oil

Brewing characteristic: nice aroma hops used in the USA as replacement for Saaz

Recommended use and hoping: as leaf hops or pellets type 90, third hopping, dry hopping
