Origin: Saphir is an aroma variety with good resistance characteristics released in 2002

Brewing characteristic: fine aroma variety with fruity, flowery and spicy aroma, very low co-humulone level

Agronomics: +/- 1700 kg/ha

Alpha acids: 3.0-4.5 %

Beta acids: 4.0-7.0 %

Co-humulone: 12-17 % of alpha acids

Total oil: 0.8-1.4 ml / 100 grams

Aroma: fruity, slightly flowery and spicy

Myrcene: 25-40 % of whole oil

Caryophyllene: 9-14 % of whole oil

Humulene: 20-30 % of whole oil

Farnesene: <1 % of whole oil

Recommended use and hopping: as hop pellets type 90 or 45, second and third hopping
