Origin: Northern Brewer was bred in England in 1934 and later grown in Germany, Belgium, Spain and the United States.

Agronomics: 1800 -2300 kg/ha, good pickability, medium size cones

Alpha acids: 7.0-10.0%

Beta acids: 3.5-5.5%

Co-humulone: 27-33% of alpha acids

Total oil: 1.5-2.1 ml / 100 grams

Aroma: medium spicy

Myrcene: 30-35% of whole oil

Caryophyllene: 10-20% of whole oil

Humulene: 35-40% of whole oil

Farnesene: 0% of whole oil

Brewing characteristic: dual - purpose hops with moderate amounts of alpha acids with an acceptable aroma profile

Recommended use and hopping: hop pellets, first and second hopping
